permanent and sleep is temporary. Death is the end of life, whereas sleep is the continuation of life. It’s the recouping of one’s strength and energies so that you might go on in life. Jesus said, “She’s asleep.” And so is Elizabeth. You see, death is going to sleep, and we are forced to ask, “Who’s afraid to go to sleep?” Oh, some of us were when we were small children.
